Underground Ventilation Silencers

This month, UVSS as a manufacturer of a wide range of Underground Mining Ventilation products, are promoting its ‘Silencer’ product range:

There are three types of silencers available from UVSS:

1. Conventional Fan Silencer:

The traditional fan silencer is made from 1.6mm thick steel (painted)

2. The Whisper Silencer:   

An upgraded version of the traditional fan silencer, our trademarked “Whisper silencer”, developed in-house through extensive R&D and made from galvanized steel, offering additional protection against rust in underground conditions.
The Whisper silencer is also approximately 40% lighter than the conventional silencer allowing for easier handling and installation, without any compromise in performance.

3. DS-Type Refuge Bay silencer:

Traditionally known as a ‘compressed air silencer’, our newly developed DS-Type Refuge Bay silencer has been re-designed for improved performance in sound attenuation. Test results are available on request

Need something else?

We also manufacture large-diameter special-designed silencers, per customer requirements.
 

All our products are tested by reputable and accredited companies, testing certificates are available on request.
